In accordance with Section 47 of the Local Government Act 1993; Port Stephens Council proposes to enter into a licence of Community Land as outlined below:

Written submissions concerning the proposal can be made to Council by 5.00 pm on Wednesday 25 June 2025.

Previous submissions are still valid and need not be resubmitted.

The Community Group Loans Policy

Council at its meeting of 10 June 2025, resolved to place the Community Group Loans Policy on public exhibition.

The revised policy is available for viewing on Council’s website at https://www.portstephens.nsw.gov.au/council/public-exhibitions or for enquiries telephone Council on 4988 0255.

The revised policy will be on exhibition from 11 June 2025 to 8 July 2025.

Submissions are invited and can be lodged, in writing (including email) with the General Manager up until 5.00pm on 8 July 2025 quoting file number PSC2009-02488-516.

2025-2026 Fees and Charges

Council at its meeting of 10 June 2025, adopted a matter arising. It is moved that Council:

• Places on public exhibition a proposal to amend the ‘Entry – Spectator’ fee for all Aquatic Centres to read $2.00 in the Fees and Charges.
• Public exhibition will occur for 28 days, and should no submissions be received, the changes to the ‘Entry – Spectator’ fees will be adopted without a further report to Council. Should this occur, the amount will be fixed at that rate, and only able to be amended through a Council resolution.

Draft Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Comprehensive Amendment)
At its meeting held on 10 June 2025, Port Stephens Council resolved to place the Draft Port Stephens Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Comprehensive Amendment) on public exhibition.

The Draft Port Stephens Local Infrastructure Contributions Plan (Comprehensive Amendment) will be on exhibition from Friday 13 June 2025 to Friday 11 July 2025 and will be exhibited at the following locations:

• Council’s Administration Building: 116 Adelaide Street, Raymond Terrace
• Raymond Terrace Library: 18A Sturgeon Street, Raymond Terrace
• Tomaree Library: 7 Community Close, Salamander Bay
